yeah, video on the web is just another tool for us. i love the word.
but there is something about seeing your life happen that is so amazing.

tell me about it. there IS absolutely something amazing about seeing your life happen. my other vlog couldn’t be more about that. or more visual. i just can’t close the door. and shit, i had to respond…visually.

A “war” on text will be equally effective as any war, but as with any war, important, unintended issues are considered and learned.

Text has limits to human understanding that video and audio exceed and in a faceoff, a/v will win if communication is the standard by which we judge.

i am a filmmaker and lover, but i am pretty sure i disagree that a/v would be text in communication. the fact that an individual can record thought and present it in a completely direct and singularly interpretable (potentially) way through text is pretty strong muscle on its side, methinks. i would agree that a/v is a better conveyor of, and presenter of pure invention/intention/emotion. but it cannot describe the way text can, though it can allow one to relate on a deeper level.

i guess in the end i’m rather torn.
