The star just barely in frame and your ankles full of cactus – the grin. I have had those days – not recently, though. It’s not futile. Just seems that way… often
When the Great Book of Beautiful Things is discovered many years from now, probably in a cave somewhere in the middle of a desert, I’m sure this will have a chapter all to itself. Sublime.

Out west in J Tree – cool! Hope you had time to get out of the car and climb some rocks!

Reminds me of On the Road. I just read it again, the Original Scroll.
I think letters sometimes pass in front of my eyes too.
Thanks Dan.

imagine
the desert being so
vast and full of passing
letters and joshua trees in sunset
there
the bleeding hands somehow permeated
through
and i suppose
that you then turned right and went 1512
more miles ahead
in a barrage of coloured alphabeticals
in the night
wishing to be a tad synaesthete or
just driving in the desert too
here
it is just grey
in nuances for he moment and
although i already mounted the winter tyres
temperature remains above
usual levels
here
[what a fine drive! the flow works fine, evne though it remained b/w for me…thanks for sharing]
