lovely. this is paris? your first time? I’m so glad you’re participating in semanal purely for selfish reasons as now I get to watch more of your work!

I wanted to hold on to this viewing. feelings of anxiety chased me as i saw it was ending.
can we have a sequel?
you seem to get to things peripherally, and so the impact is poignant and powerful and almost unexpected. thank you for a beautiful piece.
The beauty of the obscure underexposed moving image. A voyage. Inspiration as always.
Yours is the magic kingdom.
Oh, and Vive la France.
i left paris YESTERDAY
so i literally just experienced this too.
this was a beauty. really.

I dreamed about whales last night and the intro of your video really shocked me: it was the way it should sound.
Then I got immerse in the video because I know the feeling of moving, seeing things passing by, the rumors, the noises, the train motion …
I would live to hold on that feeling watching again and again…
Gracias.
its the different soundtracks. thats smart.
ah, merveilleux!
“attente d’un train en station”: a genuine lumiere in all its co-notations… the ride up the eiffel tower: soundtrack excerpt overlay from 80’s godard or french TV?… the metro sequence and the hotel room peek: suberb!
no. not impossible.
some tiny visual morcels remain powerfully present.
best, sam
new gear, btw?

I understand why the Victorians considered nostalgia to be a form of mental illness. It’s because of the exquisite pain! How do we endure the pain from the passing of these moments? I want to hold on to them, too. Painful, but so beautiful. You’re the real deal, Liss.
