and how it evolved

This was as usual an outstanding video. And conhratulations on the gig!
Yes, hear the world – it’s a whole other universe
I love what you do with video. You give it life. You make it human.
You certainly deserve to reap the rewards.
Rock on. Hope this is the beginning of a new trend for you… getting paid that is.
another gem.
Fantastic. I want to eat this. I wish I was going to Montreux, or knew someone was was.
me, too.
congratulations dan!
the layering and seamless blending of sound on sound, sound on image and image on image makes this piece a dream-like, gorgeous interlude.
thank you!

Getting paid for working – what a novel concept. I know how easy it is for those of us out here to imagine you as this eccentric guy who makes artsy little films simply for our pleasure, but I know that what you do takes more time, sincerity and effort than most people put into their full time careers for which (at least these folks down on Wall Street) are paid enormously. Every piece you’ve posted for ‘our pleasure’ has been work for you – the shooting, the editing, the creation of music, the thoughts that consume you no matter what else you’re doing until you get a piece just right! I say Hell Yes – make some dough! Make LOTS!!! Good luck with future projects!

ahhhhh. this sounds like hot mint tea on a cold day. you should do a mint tea commercial next.
Congrats, man!
lovely.
it’s always strange seeing a video and then how the video has evolved. reminds me of when D makes music. I’ll hear one cut before going to bed and when i get up in the morning it’s a completely different track… but similar… i love it…

Congratulations! I’ve admired your work for some time now and have finally figured out I don’t need to put in a URI to post a comment. My bad!!
Great stuff, as usual. Like the way you start and end with your child. The sound is as cool as the images—love the feet slapping on water especially.
this was posted 2 months ago, but it’s all new to me. Why shouldn’t you get paid to make these beautiful videos? Just don’t have a coke ad at the end. Ill kill you.
