Elements of science-fiction, along with the nostalgia of a used tool. Tools. The abstraction of the tool made me think about the ageing of materials, of the things we surround ourselves by and that we use to expand our own hands, eyes and overall – reach. This camera, made by Kodak in the USA, has been used, perhaps stored away, and now put back into the light (or, rather, the shadows – like how we caress old lovers).

I have a friend who is a professional photographer. He loved his big format cameras. He sold them about 8 months ago. He has pronounced film to be dead. Your movie made me think of that.
