Assignment #2

Sunday, August 6, 2006

Day two:

WHERE: Niagra Falls

WHAT: What is it like to be a child at Niagra Falls? Children are your audience. Show us from a child’s point of view.

TECHNICAL RESTRICTION: In light of Daniel’s broken video camera, we have decided that the technical challenge today will be managing to post a video at all. Therefore, Daniel, you’re technical challenge is to produce a video today regardless of whether or not you have an operational camera. Good luck!

anne – can we incorporate into this assignment some of the feedback from the last video – looking through the comments so far it’s only Verdi’s comment “now I was to hear people’s voices” – into the assigment? I suggest doing this every day before posting the asssigments, so as to keep the feedback/interactivity mechanism rolling (re: comment on the wiki last night)
thanks

hello trine,

we can alter the assignments as the locations but we cannot alter the locations themselves as the tickets have already been bought – some of which are alterable (but dependent on availability, which is an issue)but some of them are not.

we have to move him in the direction of his ticket home. st. clair, for example, is in the opposite direction. not possible.

Interesting assignment. Are there many kids at Niagra? I suppose so, but I always have thought of it as a place for honeymooners 🙂 Do people vacation there too? I really know little of the place except from watching the 1953 classic film-noir “Niagra” with Joesph Cotten and Marilyn Monroe. I’ll be it’s changed a lot in the last 50 years. We be interesting to see what Daniel does with this one. Good luck with the camera!
