Great to see you again, and in such style. Beautiful, furtive, unnerving, tender, tense, engrossing, unhurried.
Perfectly shot & cut, perfect details and timing.
You don’t know how much effort it took to resist emailing yesterday to say ‘We miss you!’ And within 24 hours, my wish came true.
How you had the balls to point the camera at her with those two guys on either side, I don’t know. I guess you’re a veteran of metro filming, now. Oh, and I forgot: you’re invisible.

when i was alone in ny, i used to imagine that someone (sans camera) would gaze upon my sleeping ungainlyness and i would wake to find he’d fallen in love with me in spite of myself. even the music was the same. extraordinary… you will always amaze me. thank you.
Great sound and visuals, it is nice to see what you make.
Astounding visual poetry. A beautiful rumination on literature, life, and the passage of time.
Ahh…The good ol’ A train. I can practically smell it. I’ve yet to find the nads to film people on the train. Since I’ll likely never find them, please just keep go on doing stuff like this. It’s videos like this that I’ll watch daily if and when I finally leave our fair city.
You make subways seem far more exotic and interesting than they really are.
so nice to have your gaze back: intensive, attentive and shared with such a fine structure of simultanous poetics … pride and prejudice, annotated, in under two minutes: as if dreaming, in a momentary lapse of sleepy dissyness, reverted to quotidian A-line commuting.
missed it all for such a long time.
thanks. cheers.
I see that woman, (figuratively), everyday, and everyday I’m hypnotized.
she looks dead. and maybe only someone at the end of the night will realize it.
Liss, checking in here before the break, and what a bee-yoot. Haunting, right from the get go. MissB, I think if you look at Subways with non-city poetic eyes, you see this beauty everywhere in NYC, but it’s a melancholy beauty, everywhere I turn there. It’s a tribute to Liss that he can live in NYC and still keep those eyes, and not get jaded, or cliche-ridden, which is why we love his world. Talking 3rd and 1st person here…anyway, feeling like almost getting back on the horse for a few of these vids, to get back to it. As always, you’re and inspiration. Can’t wait to pass more time. I’ll be in touch soon.
Wow. Loved it. Beautiful.
If only written language were sufficient to convey to you the depths of my appreciation, admiration, inspiration, and fear.
