So…what? I’m supposed to cancel my Liss obituary I ordered for the Times now?
Shit…
awesome!
each piece you pour down on me ushers me through or toward or past some place i’d never have gone without your hand gently cupped beneath my elbow. thank you for that – and this. coltrane walks me home almost every night and to the train most every morning. i will sync up and walk with you both when i watch this next.
-this is one of my favorites… generous, genius, and beautiful. glad you’re back.
I wasn’t going to comment because I don’t really know what to say that wouldn’t sound stupid paired with this video. I guess all that I can say is that I liked this video’s “style” and I understood what you were talking about. Music is powerful.

Welcome back, friend.
I often feel like Evan – having been witness to something so true and touching I can’t think of a single thing to say that could match what you have shared with us. I feel small, but happy to be small and overwhelmed in the face of beauty and truth.
I always tiptoe away from your vidoes, to sit and be quiet and think.
wonderful moment captured and disclosed plenty, beautiful…the overwhelming power a good song brings is one reason I wake up every morning…
Welcome back, and thanks: I wasn’t sure what was going to jump start my videoblogging battery again…I was worried nothing would.
This did.
Off to borrow buy some Coltrane.
Did I say “welcome back”? Can’t say it enough.
Yes, welcome back. Thank you for talking about walking and planes. Someday, when we have time, we need to discuss both. Hope you holiday was fabulous.

I like your work very much.
Looks like you do it in New York. Sometime.
Paul Pierog (not your president)
brilliant
I’m truly moved.
or at least remembering being moved…. which is the same thing.
and you actually got me to put my Coltrane into the new itunes… lost most of my jazz in a hard drive crash, but that’s another story.
again,
bravo.
