I watched this a third time and caught, what I thought was, something massively ironic. The painter has this part (around 2:05) where she goes on about painting in public and how everyone is a critic, their raw comments, praises, even to the point of someone moving her hand to show her proper form! She is both lamenting and exhilerated by the public creation of her art. Not unlike this vlog. Seems to me her comments could apply to the sevenmaps project and your own personal experience…or is this a stretch? It was like she was your muse. Anwyay, I thought it was cool, and I found myself laughing about the irony. Editing that piece in was genius Daniel; like a kind of filmaker’s subtext.
